About This Song
Stevan Pasero Sheet Music Scores: “My Wild Gypsy” was originally written in 1998 for ensemble and was featured on an album composed by Stevan Pasero called Songs for the Wild featuring Christopher Bock on percussion. In 2010, the song was re-recorded on Stevan’s album, Twelve Shades of Night, featuring Sascha Jacobsen (bass), Felix de Lola (cajon & palmas) and Colin Douglas (percussion). Subsequently, Stevan performed the song as a solo work at various shows and re-recorded a solo version in 2012, “My Wild Gypsy (solo guitar) – single,” which was transcribed to sheet music in 2014. The song features a juxtaposition of melody, chords, bass movement, strums, tremolo, arpeggios, slurs and adroit cascading runs.
