Norwegian Wood Guitar Sheet Music: “Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown)” is a song by the English rock band the Beatles from their 1965 album Rubber Soul. It was written mainly by John Lennon and credited to the Lennon–McCartney songwriting partnership. Influenced by the introspective lyrics of Bob Dylan, the song marked the onset of the development of new music styles emerging in the 1960s like raga rock, psychedelic rock, and is also recognized as a key work in the early evolution of world music. Stevan’s arrangement builds upon the Dylanesque 6/8 rhythm and time signature used by Lennon and incorporates harmonic jazz elements of 6ths, 7th, and 9ths in this energetic concert rendition.

Stevan Pasero is recognized as a important contributor to the guitar repertoire over the past three decades. He has transcribed numerous symphonic works and composed, arranged and produced records for solo, duo and various ensembles. He has recorded 50 albums of music and his works appear on over 1000 other albums. Pasero studied classical guitar, then continued his studies in jazz and flamenco. He attended San Francisco State University where he studied musical analysis, harmony and composition, which led to some post-graduate work in transcription and orchestration. Mr. Pasero is owner and principal of four publishing and distribution music industry companies.
