About This Song
Here Comes the Sun Guitar Sheet Music: “Here Comes the Sun” is a song written and sung by George Harrison on the Beatles’ Abbey Road album. It is the most streamed Beatles song. Harrison wrote the song in early 1969 at the country house of his friend Eric Clapton. The song is in the key of A major and is in 4/4 time. This melody-chord finger-picking arrangement by Stevan begins with an adagio expressivo rendering and then transitions to a medium tempo feel, eventually progressing to up-tempo. Harmonically, the song is arranged using elements of 6ths and major 7ths, adding to its uniqueness, without straying too far from Harrison’s classic rendition. Stevan recorded the song in the summer of 2016 at his home studio in Half Moon Bay.
