About This Song
Carcassi Guitar Sheet Music: “Etude No. 3 in A Major” is a part of the 25 Studies, Op. 60—a set of etudes for the classical guitar written by the Italian guitarist/composer/teacher Matteo Carcassi (1792-1853). The set of etudes serve as a bridge between the elementary and advanced stages of the guitar discipline. They contain fundamental elements upon which guitar technique rests. This Etude No. 3 is one of Carcassi’s most famous student works and is found in almost every syllabus where the guitar is taught. Mr. Pasero will soon be recording this solo guitar work on his upcoming album. (Please note that the audio file included with this solo version uses digital sound samples to show the arrangement.)
